I’ve been using Windows Home Server since March when I signed up for the beta. I think this is a really great product, and I just hope it catches on. This fills a big need for people like me with a home network and multiple computers. The problem is, I don’t think a lot of people know they need something like this. When I mention I have a server at home, people just roll their eyes and write it off because I’m a “computer guy.” That being said, if you can convince people that they would really benefit from Home Server, this is a great, user-friendly solution. Plus if you have an old computer sitting around, you can get the OEM version of Home Server from Newegg for under $200 and build your own.
